Hi all !! I have the next ¿problem?: I have a pdf whith metadata embedded

When I try to merge or split this pdf with others, metadata is lost. I don't know if this behaviour is correct or not so that is the reason why I am asking for. I am using PdfCopyFiles with a list of files as parameter. Could it be about the reason of iText?
