In that case, you're stuck with the X,Y coordinates.
iText can parse text snippets from a PDF, returning the position of the 
text, but there's no guarantee that the text is stored in the PDF the 
way you expect it. iText could return the snippets "ld", "wor", "llo", 
"He" and their coordinates in that order, but how will you know that the 
text actually says "Hello world"?
