Nobody will answer you because: (1.) you're using an iText version that dates from 2009 and hasn't been supported anymore since years. (2.) Indic languages require ligatures that aren't supported in iText. We've received a handful of code contributions that claimed to solve the ligature problem, but none of these contributions were useful. We've made better ligature support a project for 2014, but the priority of this "goal for 2014" will depend on the demand by paying customers.
