Hola a Todas, la semana pasada publicó GNOME el programa GNOME Women Outrech que consiste en proporcionar unas becas destinadas a que la mujer participe más en la comunidad de Software Libre. Así que si cononoceis a alguien que pudiera estar interesada no dudéis en enviar la información. Es como el Google summer of Code, pero bajo con GNOME y destinado únicamente para mujeres. Son 4 meses de diciembre a marzo a tiempo completo y tiene una dotación económica de $5000 . Para enviar las solicitures el plazo termina el 31 de Octubre. No es específico para programadoras, se valoran habilidades como diseño gráfico, documentación o marketing. Y a cada participante se le asignará un tutor de la GNOME Foundation. We are starting an application process for the third round of GNOME Outreach Program for Women internships just in time for the Software Freedom Day! The dates for these internships are December 12, 2011 to March 12, 2012. The application deadline is October 31, 2011. The internship dates are aimed at the college women in the Southern Hemisphere who will have a school summer break during this time. However, any woman who has relevant experience and is available for a full-time internship is welcome to apply.
