Is there some sort of an equivalent to Window's SendMessage with
support for different threads? Right now I change the window
procedure of my dialog manually in order to use SendMessage
(mainly as a cheap way to make threads communicate). An
alternative is to use a timer, but perhaps there is something
already in place for similar tasks?
