Hi Rusty:
The vaapi patch is same to my local clone.

Unfortunately, I found one big issue of my patch, MiniBrowser fails (hang or
crash) when you try to open a new page after video playback. The Nested wayland
server in webkit is destroyed.
So, we'd not merge the patch to tizen branch.

Kalyan:
Do you have any idea to debug/fix the issue I mentioned? Here is the reproduce
step:
1. open one page with html5 video
2. open another page, (for example http://www.google.com)
MiniBrowser fail, the nested wayland server is closed.

Subject: State of Webkit-EFL for the August milestone

We have a few incoming gerrit request for platform/framework/web/webkit-efl,
and problems with all of them. Also I have found a problem with a change that
landed since the last release was cut a couple of days ago resulting in video
being broken when building directly off the tizen branch.

Since Joone is out on vacation then let me summarize the various issues:

NOTE: We go into freeze mode for our Augus milestone tomorrow evening (US west
coast time). At this point the last release from a couple of days ago had a
fairly functional browser and web apps so i don't want to pull something in
unless we have high confidence that it works

1. The tizen branch is full of pointless empty merge messages from gerrit, an
cairo-gles patch immediatly followed by a revert of that same patch, and a
vaapi patch that breaks video.

I manually cleaned up the tizen branch to contain only the code from our last
release a couple of days ago, submit/tizen/20130819.220039, with the pointless
empty commits (thank you gerrit) and cairo-gles/revoke removed. Yes, i know
this will mess up everyone's git-pull, but just do a 'git reset -hard
origin/tizen' and all will be fine.

Now it's much easier to see what's happening when looking at the git log.

2. More on the broken vaapi support
https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/c/8486/
https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/c/8485/

I created a new 'vaapi' branch and pushed the broken patch that was accepted
since the last release on that new vaapi branch. I also pulled in the two
outstanding gerrit patches related to video.

Halley please take a look at this and see what we might have missed from the
tizen repo to your personal clone. If this is broke because of another
outstanding review on some other package then also let me know.

3. Murphy support
https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/c/8533/

My attempts to build and test the outstanding murphy patches resulted in all
audio failing to play.

Jaska, please test with your patch against the new fixed tizen branch and see
if you see the same breakage. Perhaps there is again some other system package
that needs to land at the same time for this to work?

4. Cairo-GLES support
https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/c/8336/

After manually building the pending cairo change to enable gles and also
building weston with gles enabled so the weston-terminal works, I found that
the stability of the browser is horrific with this change turned on.

Please rework this patch against the tizen branch and resubmit

5. Desktop browsing support

https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/c/8483/

The patch adding support for desktop browsing needs work so it is not
accidentally turned on for the mobile profile. If i have time i might push a
revision to this patch and ask for review.
