Hi, Jacky, Currently Wayland 1.2.0 was integrated in Tizen IVI latest build, which in theory should be able to meet dependency requirement of building QtWayland. Looking into QtWayland.pro, it will check Wayland configuration first. Are you sure wayland-devel-1.2.0-*.rpm was installed in your environment? This package may be installed for building QtWayland.

Now I'll try to give the detail about my situation. Previously, in order to port the app to the IVI-Tizen-2.0, I followed these steps to accomplish it: a. Install OS Ubuntu13.04 on vmware b. Install tizen-sdk and tizen-SBS(scratch box system) on Ubuntu13.04 c. Install opengl es libs in the SBS d. Download the qt4.8.3 source codes, compile it in the SBS e. Compile my app in the SBS environment. f. Port the qtlibs and my app to the IVI-TIZEN-2.0 g. Run the app well on the IVI-TIZEN-2.0 Currently, for the IVI-Tizen-3.0, I wanna reuse the environment I've built previously, and I also refer to the guide from the Qt 5 on Wayland<http://wayland.freedesktop.org/qt5.html>( http://wayland.freedesktop.org/qt5.html) ,my steps are: a. Git qt5base and compile it b. Git qtwayland and qmake it, then get error," QtWayland requires Wayland 1.1.0 or higher", so I copy the qtwayland source codes to the IVI-Tizne-3.0 platform, c. On the IVI-Tizne-3.0 platform, while I use the qmake(from qt5lib) under the qtwayland directory, I still got qmake error like" QtWayland requires Wayland 1.1.0 or higher". I'm now so confused about my predicament, could you guys help me get my idea into shape? Should I continue to build the qtwayland on my SBS-Ubuntu13.04 enviroment? Was there any more detailed document? And sorry to say that I do not have access to Youtube, I'm in China now. There is also no Qt libraries in the Tizen IVI repositories although there has been some community activities lately on that (@Tomaz, any update on posting your Qt5 build for Tizen IVI 3.0?) Thanks, Geoffroy Hi as others said IVI is wayland based, however as long as you doesn't use X functions in you app then it should be transparent for you. Qt will simply run with other(wayland) platform plugin. Currently I prepare Qt rpm's for Tizen(2.2 mobile, emulator and 3.0 IVI). I tested that Qt apps work with wayland plugin (I ran e.g. Qt5_CinematicExperience [1]) on IVI. I'm close to finish so stay tuned. I will send qt repo url to mailing list so you will be able to compile your Qt app directly on target. QtCreator integrations is work in progress.
