A shot in the dark from me but here are the next few things you should check:
- Make sure you have the driver for the MMC controller built-in (given you don’t use an initrd) - Double-check the device/partition name of the MMC card - Insert a ‘rootwait’ in your kernel command-line - Have you replaced the /sbin/init file on the Tizen filesystem by any chance?
