Hi Sathish,

I don't have a good idea yet as to what's causing this issue. I've searched a
bit more for such error and found a number of reports dating back to 2012
affecting various distros (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian). In most reports that I
glanced through, all systems were based on the 945GM graphics chipset. You
mentionned in your original mail that you boot Tizen on a laptop, could you
give us the exact spec (+ 'lspci').

Could you do a couple of additional experiments too:

- Try a different hardware, preferably a Bay Trail system (such as
VTC-1010, NUC DE3815TYKHE, MinnowBoard MAX)?

- Try the latest milestone [1] image to see if the same error occurs

Thanks,
Geoffroy

Thanks Geoffroy,

Tried to take the lead with your help. I tried df and du.. But both at
startup and when the crash happens, the values remain same..

I tried to take the log using free command.

The command I used is "free -m"

The intial value at startup is

total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 3928 419 3508 100 7 220
-/+ buffers/cache: 191 3736
Swap: 0 0 0

When I system hangs, I get this

total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 3928 3679 248 3466 0 3487
-/+ buffers/cache: 191 3736
Swap: 0 0 0

>From what I understand, free memory comes from 3508 MB to 248 MB in just 7
>mins in my case..

Is my understanding correct ?? And Can you help me with this to find what is
causing the memory consumption??

Thanks,
Sathish

A shot in the dark here: that seems like the typical message that arrives when
the disk (USB in your case) is full. Can you check that and also try to figure
out is a specific folder is being filled somehow ('df' and 'du' are your
friends here)?

Cheers,
Geoffroy

Subject: Video playback - 'intel_do_flush_locked failed. No space left on the
device'

Hi,

I am running a gst based video player on tizen. The tizen image used is
March 2014. The image is flashed into a USB and is booted on a laptop.
After sometime running the video, I am getting the following error
"intel_do_flush_locked failed. No space left on the device".
Can anyone help me in this..

Thanks,
Sathish
