I know. But 0.5 is not about new features or bug fixes. In fact, I think that
ivtv changes should go into the 0.4 branch first and ported forward to 0.5.
Changes made in 0.5 to the supporting drivers to make them ready for
inclusion in v4l could to some extent be backported to 0.4.
I see 0.5 as a transition period. No nice shiny new features but work that has
to be done to make it possible that with 2.6.x in Fedora Core 6 you no longer
need to download and compile ivtv, instead it's part of the distribution.
