I suspect I am using the kernel version of tveeprom now. However, I still have the original issue that is the source of my angst: I get good audio and video on /video1, but nothing but static (no sound) on /video0.
Axel Thimm, Jarod Wilson, et. al., maintains the atrpm stuff at http://atrpms.net/ I can try to contact them. Do you know those guys?

In that case just use the kernel tveeprom (or edit ivtv tveeprom.c as per my
previous email). Can someone else check just which tveeprom.c is included in
that kernel?
