Each new release brings new features and new bugs. I've never seen one without that other. ;) If 0.3.x were to become the stable branch, would there be a code freeze with the exclusion of bug fixes? On the side, I have noticed some odd artifacts as well. For some odd reason, people's faces sometimes move independently of their head. That is, when someone is talking, there will be MPEG artifacts on their face... so that their nose, their eyes, their mouth will all collectively not move in sync with the rest of their head. If they turn their head, the face will follow, but lagging or ahead. If someone "nods" their head, often their face will remain in place. I've been trying suggestions I've seen here, including ivtv -c dnr changes. Sometimes it seems to work, and others not. I will keep people posted, right now I have dnr_* set to 0 on all my PVR inputs. I have also occasionally noticed the ghosting problem, but not severely. One thing that really erks me, is that the image is just blurrier than normal TV. I ran an RCA cable from my Starchoice receiver.. and it is actually crisper than my s-video line out to my PVR-350, through to my s-video out to TV. Weird, that. Again, I'll keep everyone posted. I ran the line to ensure that the artifacts I saw were not a result of a busted sat. receiver dish. You never know. ;) _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-devel
