The 0.5 ivtv now assumes that the v4l modules are installed and will

still around you may get these 'version' errors.
I know that it should work this way. I'm going to look more deep in kernel
source now to understand, what is the reason when versions are
incompatible..
Now it is partially solved! Removeing these two lines
0x39327485 tveeprom_hauppauge_analog drivers/media/video/tveeprom
0x39327485 tveeprom_hauppauge_analog extra/ivtv-tveeprom
from /usr/src/linux-2.6.13-15-obj/i386/default/Module.symvers did the
trick!
Still, I don't know how to do it right way.
Another way...
move the ivtv/tveeprom.ko out of the way, say to ivtv/tveeprom-ivtv.ko
move the /kernel/drivers/media/video/tveeprom.ko back
and then run a depmod.
I did a clean install today and found the same problem.
