I have to apologize because I am committing a cardinal
sin by cross-posting this message I sent to the user
list just under a week ago. Please forgive me - I got
no responses on the list, you all seem so much more
knowlegeable over here, and I'm near my wit's end.
I have a PVR-250 and PVR-350 in my box. I had this
setup running perfectly under FC2 for about a year. I
just did a clean install of FC4 and MythTV via Axel's
RPMs, and everything works except for video playback
on the 350. I encode fine. I can display X on the
framebuffer 350 out fine. But the decoder does not
work.
The problem seems to be this section:
ivtv0: loading /lib/modules/ivtv_init_mpeg.bin
ivtv0: unable to open firmware
ivtv0: failed to read mpeg decoder initialisation file
/lib/modules/ivtv_init_mpeg.bin
I just don't know what to do about it. I tried
uninstalling everything and reinstalling. No dice. I
built from the source. Same problems. I followed all
the directions in the Howto on the ivtvdriver.org site
and tried the troubleshooting steps. Now I am coming
to you all for help. Is there anyone who has some
suggestions for me?
Regards,
Daniel
