sorry. It's a PVR350. (Also, i may have caused confusion by using the synonyms 
" -q " and "--set-audio-input= " interchangeably -- they are, purportedly, the 
same)

Thanks. Hmm... indeed, the cx25840 module is not (automatically) loaded for me, 
but modules.txt does not describe it as model-exclusive in any way.

It is not for the 350, for sure? If not, i wonder what the equivalent PVR350 
control would be
