I am getting the exact same problems from my PVR-500. It seems that my PVR-250 is not affected. After about 10 minutes when, mostly the real recorded show starts, I keep getting those 'mpeg blocks'. Sounds seem to be OK though. Does reverting to an older version of ivtv and/or firmware solve it?
