Hi all!
This morning I received confirmation that all our kernel patches have
been accepted into the upcoming 2.6.15 kernel! So the modules saa7115,
saa7127, cx25840, wm8775 and cs53l32a are now all in the kernel. Also
the extra ivtv support in the msp3400 module is now merged into the
kernel.
That saves a lot of maintenance and makes life a lot easier once this
kernel becomes part of the standard distributions.
I'd like to take the opportunity to give a big 'thank you!' to Kevin
Thayer and Chris Kennedy who both did an enormous amount of work in
creating this driver, to John Harvey for his xdriver work, to Tyler
Trafford for his work on the cx25840 and to Axel Thimm for hosting the
web page and Subversion/Trac development services. Not to mention all
those other people who contributed in one way or another.
