Hi, Can someone walk me through how to test a PVR-150 from the command line? My dad's MythTV machine has gone bonkers. It will no longer watch live TV. It is only recording on channel 4 no matter what channel I tell it to record from. I want to test the card from the command line and save video/audio from other channels to make sure it's not an ivtv or PVR-150 hardware issue.
I have done cat /dev/v4l/video0 >test.mpg and it works, but it's always channel 4 which is the problem MythTV is having. How can I determine if the card is working on something other than channel 4? We are currently using ivtv-0.4.0-r2 from Gentoo portage.
