I had posted to the ivtv-users list at the begining of November  which
contains the details of my set up when I first noticed the issue.

http://www.ivtvdriver.org/pipermail/ivtv-users/2005-November/000196.html

If you need help I can downgrade to a paticular firmware to see if the
issue exists.

I've been watching TV with 0.3.8 and 0x02040024 for about 2 hours now with no problem.  It looks like the problem came in between 0.3.8 and 0.4.0.
