Same story here. All trouble started when I upgraded from 2.6.14.3/ivtv-0.4.0
to 2.6.14.5/ivtv-0.4.1.

Identical behaviour of my pvr350. However, the cable is good. Works if
plugged into the PCTV Pro and the PVR350 under XP (different machine, though).

I can only guess, but did 0.4.1 access the SAA7115 registers somehow
differently, breaking earlier ivtv versions in turn too that do not
touch those registers and leave it set in a "bad" state?

I can confirm that. An upgrade to 0.4.1 broke my card too!
What is really annoying, even _downgrading_ to a previous working installation
(for me 2.6.14.3/ivtv-0.4.0) does _not_ help... :-(

Unfortunately several other people have similar troubles.
Just check recent postings to the ivtv-users list.
