Actually, I was thinking myself that it is getting time to contact you. 
You can try something already; it's very unlikely to work, but the 
dmesg output might be interesting.

You need the 0.7 development version from subversion (the subversion 
'trunk') and you have to read the README.1ST as you have to use the 
latest v4l-dvb modules.

Then run 'modprobe ivtv cardtype=12' and post the dmesg output.

Just in case it actually loads you can try to record something. BTW, 
what tuner does the card have? You may have to force a specific tuner 
by adding a 'tuner=X' module option to modprobe (see the tuner.h from 
v4l-dvb for a list of tuner IDs).
