verify that "hotplug" is numerically before whatever loads your ivtv modules....
I think mine (I started with KnoppMyth) had hotplug at S20 and ivtv was at S19.... I moved hotplug to S18 to make sure that
it was loaded first. In my case, it failed to load the first time, but succeeded later for obvious reasons.
