Yes, there is a problem with msp3400. As reported earlier I get this: msp3400 0-0040: I/O error #1 (write 0x12/0x03) msp3400 0-0040: I/O error #2 (write 0x12/0x03) msp3400 0-0040: I/O error #3 (write 0x12/0x03) msp3400 0-0040: giving up, reseting chip. Sound will go off, sorry folks :-| repeated many times, filling up dmesg. But, remember, I've got two cards and one works fine. Thanks for the pointer with regard to the changes to msp/bt848. I do have that module compiling in the kernel and it appears to be installed and loading.
