I have a 64 bit MSI MB with the nvidia chipset in it and the nvidia 5200
video card in it. I also have the prv-500 card in that machine. This
machine has been up and running with few problems for several months
now. I am currently using SUSE Linux 10.0 64 bit on that system.

Before getting this system running I had a gigabyte MB with basically
the same specs. that MB would not work with the same setup. When I
called Gigabyte and told them about my problems they told me to buy
someone else's MB. I don't know if you are running into the same type of
problem or not but MB's can be a problem. Though I have seen several
people that I think are running similar systems.

The long and the short, and AGP video card and the PVR-500 work for me.

knoppix did not support my 64 bit system, a few months ago, but did work
on a 32 bit install on the same hardware that I am currently running on.
Though I did have to tweek it.
