Is this related at all why I had to "hide" (rename) tveeprom,ko,
tuner.ko, and tda9887.ko in /lib/modules/`uname
-r`/updates/drivers/media/video in order to get my HD3000 to play with
my PVR-250? The system is working fine (sans DMA issues). I just
updated Friday morning to these:

# rpm -qa '*ivtv*'
ivtv-firmware-dec-2.02.023-8.at
ivtv-0.4.3-104.rhfc4.at
ivtv-firmware-enc-2.04.024-8.at
ivtv-kmdl-2.6.15-1.1833_FC4smp-0.4.3-104.rhfc4.at
ivtv-firmware-1.8a-8.at
perl-Video-ivtv-0.13-7.rhfc4.at
ivtv-firmware-audio-0.0.1-5.at

Hmm, yum check-update...looks like you've updated again - is your issue
specific the below version?

ivtv.i386 1:0.4.3-105.rhfc4.at atrpms
ivtv-kmdl-2.6.15-1.1833_FC4smp.i686 1:0.4.3-105.rhfc4.at atrpms

One other thing that kept me guessing for a bit - and someone might find
helpful - moving from 2.6.14 to 2.6.15 kernel: /dev/video0 ended up
being (I think the v4l on) the HD3000; /dev/video1,24,32 are the
PVR-250. Sure enough, I could use tvtime to watch some channels (though
grossly overcontrasted) and SVIDEO input on the HD3000. New feature, I
guess. :-) Reading from /dev/video0 generated some seriously large
files in a short time and weren't MPEG files...gave me a clue.

Regards,
Chris
