I've upgraded my Myth box to Fedora Core 5 from FC3, primarily to try to make my Nova-T DVB card more reliable (new kernel/modules). This move has brought me ivtv 0.6, which seems to be working a treat on my PVR-350.
The stick kernel modules, however, haven't helped my Nova-T reliability and so the next step is to try the ATrpms video4linux kdmls. I did a very quick attempt last night at installing these, but they made my PVR-350 fail. I couldn't see an obvious error, I need to investigate in detail, but pending that is there any known compatibility issue between any of the v4l kmdls and the ivtv 0.6 ones that I'll need to work around, either by deleting the v4l ones or via modprobe.conf fiddling? -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# rm -f .signature [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ls -l .signature ls: .signature: No such file or directory [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# exit _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-devel
