Hmm, I wish I understood WHY this makes a difference. It shouldn't.
Can you do a few tests for me?
First set the initial card back to the PVR150 (that's at line 682 in
ivtv-driver.c). Now the bug should be back.
Now comment out the .gpio_init line at line 196 in ivtv-cards.c. Test.
If this doesn't fix the problem, then add ' | IVTV_CAP_DECODER'
to .v4l2_capabilities at line 171 in ivtv-cards.c. If this still
doesn't help, then I'm really lost. As far as I can tell, no
card-specific data is used until after the eeprom detection.
