I do record to a software RAID, with LVM over it. Does that have the same effect as a hardware RAID? Or does it not matter software/hardware? I have been recording to this drive with this card (PVR 250-MCE) for a while and seen no outward signs of problems. The reason I posted was because I seemed to be missing big chunks of recorded programs since the 8.1 RC (maybe on the order of a minute or so, its hard to tell.) Perhaps that has to do with the other errors listed? > Right, this is getting annoying. Please apply the patch attached to > the > driver. If you don't hear back from me, you can assume all went well. ;-) Thanks! -jake _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-devel
