Hi, I think I have the same issue reported by Greg a week or so ago with the pvr-150. I see exactly the same symptoms - i.e. v4l2-ctl reports mono and lang2 as the available subchannels, current audio mode is stereo, but I only get mono output. The advice to Greg was to modify the pvr150_workaround setting in the ivtv-driver.c file. However, I'm using version 0.4.9 of ivtv and it looks like modifying this causes the driver not to work at all with this version.
I'm more than happy to do any testing or experimentation, so just let me know if you need any output/traces to help figure out and resolve the problem. I'm also an experience C/C++ developer, so if you can vaguely point me in the right direction I could take a stab at fixing it. Keep up the good work with ivtv, and let me know what you think.
