Greetings I've just tried upgrading from 0.6.3 on a 2.6.16 kernel to 0.8.2 (and 0.8.1) on a 2.6.18 kernel and I get similar distortion to this one on a pvr150 http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/users/33786
My problem is not quite as bad, in that it settles down after a a few seconds, but still gives the appearance of 'loosing lock', stripes of pixellation across the screen at random places and generally not very good every 3-5 seconds. It appears to be worse on svideo input (compared to a tuner channel with a good signal). Going back to 0.6.3 and even upgrading to 0.6.6 on the 2.6.16 kernel is fine.
