Yesterday I got the ivtv x driver compiled from the sources
(http://packages.debian.org/unstable/source/xserver-xorg-video-ivtvdev)
for my FC5 machine. I had to add a small patch to the ivtvhw.h file.

The driver is ok because X starts but my pvr-350 is in my normal machine
so I also have a screen on my LCD monitor (ATI card).
Currently I use gnome but when I loggin only the background of the
desktop is shown, both on LCD and PVR-350 out, and not the icons, clock,
menu's, etc.... These programs do get started but I did not have time
yet to find out where they are displayed (not on the LCD or pvr-350 screen).
When I use KDE I do get everything but this desktop locks up after a few
seconds. Through a ssh connection I can restart my x server and I get
the login prompt again.

So I try to get the best option possible but currently nothing, fb or
xv, is working or working stable.

Michel.
