Hi. I was running : ivtv: version 0.9.0 (development revision 3574) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.18-1.2239.fc5 mod_unload 686 REGPARM 4KSTACKS gcc-4.1
on another machine with my new PVR-500 for weeks, while I soak tested rebooting over and over with no problems. I've now removed the old PVR-150 from my production machine and installed the new PVR-500. The card loads fine everytime, but as soon as I do a "dd" or "cat /dev/video" or "cat /dev/video1" or run VDR, the machine completely locks up. No logs, no errors, just a 100% lockup - needing a 20 second hold on my power button.
