Could those who reported similar problems please give a short reply, which
applications they are using? Is it also vdr, or does the flickering also
happen with other applications like mythtv ?

I have been experiencing these problems (
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/devel/32970) a few times, but
only the last couple of days. I'm using MythTV and it happens only on my
PVR350 (I have a PVR150 too), and have been using IVTV 0.10.3 both before
and after this started happening; the main change to my system is that I had
upgraded my kernel (from 2.6.19.1 to 2.6.21.5) and I have connected the FM
cable.

Interestingly, I noticed yesterday, this effect can be forced by using
ivtv-radio to listen to the radio and then be dumb enough to watch live TV
at the same time (the screen goes green, obviously both aplay and mythtv
cannot have access to the same device, and the sound changes to that of the
TV), but after closing all applications, and trying to watch TV after, the
flicker, as described earlier occurs and it seems it can only be gotten rid
off by a reboot -- restarting the application doesn't suffice.

Yesterday though, I *have* rebooted the system after being done tinkering
with the radio and haven't touched that since -- but today I noticed the
flicker in two recordings, exactly the same as described. There were no
hints of errors in any logfiles in the time between the good and bad
recordings.
