Hello ! I have running this card under linux - 2.6.21.5 (gentoo) and ivtv-0.10.3 with last firmware. This card is not known by ivtv:
ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: version 0.10.3 (tagged release) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.21.5 SMP mod_unload PENTIUM4 ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info between ivtv: the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines, along with ivtv: any module options, when mailing the ivtv-users mailinglist. ivtv0: Unknown card: vendor/device: 4444/0016 IVTV_CARD_GOTVIEW_PCI_DVD2 ivtv0: subsystem vendor/device: 1461/c439 ivtv0: cx23416 based ivtv0: Defaulting to GotView PCI DVD2 Deluxe card ivtv0: Please mail the vendor/device and subsystem vendor/device IDs and what kind of ivtv0: card you have to the ivtv-devel mailinglist (www.ivtvdriver.org) ivtv0: Prefix your subject line with [UNKNOWN CARD]. ivtv0: loaded v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw firmware (376836 bytes) ivtv0: Encoder revision: 0x02060039 tuner 3-0061: chip found @ 0xc2 (ivtv i2c driver #0) cx25840 3-0044: cx25843-23 found @ 0x88 (ivtv i2c driver #0) ivtv0: Registered device video0 for encoder MPEG (4 MB) ivtv0: Registered device video32 for encoder YUV (2 MB) ivtv0: Registered device vbi0 for encoder VBI (1 MB) ivtv0: Registered device video24 for encoder PCM audio (1 MB) ivtv0: Registered device radio0 for encoder radio ivtv0: Initialized GotView PCI DVD2 Deluxe, card #0 ivtv: ==================== END INIT IVTV ==================== but as you can see i have changed default card to " GotView PCI DVD2 Deluxe" because default card PVR-150 produces black and white video. I'm capturing video from home camera (sony) by composite jack. M116 description - http://www.ixbt.com/monitor/aver-m116-plus.shtml (russian!). It would be godd if developers include this card into main sources of ivtv. And as I understand ivtv sources will be included into upcoming kernel 2.6.22 ?
