Hi, I'm trying to write to the registers of the SAA7127 TV output chip on the PVR-350, however I can't even read them.
I get: ivtvctl -R chip=saa7127,min=0x26,max=0x27 ioctl: VIDIOC_INT_G_REGISTER failed for 0x00000026 ioctl: VIDIOC_INT_G_REGISTER failed for 0x00000027 How do I read and set these registers please??? Why do I want to do this? It's a long story but I'm trying to playback an mpeg that's in 16:9. The PVR-350 outputs it as 4:3. I want to see if I can get the SAA7127 to tell my TV to show it in 16:9. If I can then I can write some code to detect the format of the mpeg and make the change automagically. Of course it relies on the TV understanding WSS signalling. Cheers Steve
