My thoughts are that this is a Myth issue.
I'll see if i can reproduce it over the next week or so.
My Myth box is almost back working after lots of building work.

I normally use Xv for display rather than the 350 output directly so i
wouldn't normally see this problem. Is there any reason not to use the Xv
output instead?

Subject: [ivtv-devel] PVR-350 & MythTV

I'm having a problem with the Fast-Forward/Rewind functionality using the
latest released ivtv driver (kernel and X) and an SVN snapshot of MythTV.

The problem is actually an old one (http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/745).
Basically FFW at 3x works great, but anything else fails to update the
screen while you seek. I actually thought this bug had been fixed awhile
ago, but it's been so long since I've used the PVR-350 for output I'm
probably mistaken. Anyway, if someone has any idea why this is happening, or
can point me in some direction (such as "this is a mythtv-issue") I'd
appreciate it.

I'd also like to thank the developers (Ian Armstrong, John Harvey, and
anyone else) for dusting off this code and dedicating some time to it.
