I am trying to use an Avermedia Ultratv 1500 MCE, tv tuner card with ubuntu
8.10 and ivtv shows me the following -

The card is based on the following chips - cx25843 (I think this is
NTSC/PAL/SECAM decoder) and cx23416 (MPEG2 encoder). Can you please add support
for this in ivtv, or please suggest me alternatives.
