Good news, bad news...

Okay, that gave me a signal after rebooting... but the signal iis like
what you get when you have your TV set to channel 4 but your VCR is
set to channel 3? it's all skewed at about a 15' angel, and
unwatchable. i get a few sound errors, but i think i can fix those.

I have a captured test.mpg, if you guys want it, but it's basically
that skewed image.

I also tried /usr/bin/ivtvctl -p 0,1,2...9, but only /usr/bin/ivtvctl
-p 4 gave me the skewed image, and not a black screen.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks again guys, you've given me so much more hope.

And Axel, the 'dark side' (aka my wife) wants me to stop 'wasting time
on this thing'.... so i told her to go shopping. :) :) :)

Also, my /var/log/messages did fix itself,
