Hi...
I have been trying to play encoded video such as DivX or XviD on the PVR-350 tvout, but so far unsuccessfully. MPlayer is patched with the latest patch from the utils dir (of course ;-)) and the driver is rc3a.
It is not sadly not working! :-( When I start up mplayer like:
mplayer -framedrop -cache 32768 (or 8192) -vo ivtv </path/to/recording>.avi
it takes a short while to fill the cache and the playback begins, but after playing for about 5-10 seconds mplayer gives the message; >>Your system is too slow to play this<<, which I find hard to belive since it is an 2.4ghz Intel P4 Celeron with 512MB ram, and the CPU usage on the time is ~7-10%. I'm able to play back the recording if I'm using the normal monitor without any problems.
What can be causing this and is there something that can be done so I can playback encoded recordings this way?
Hoping for help...
Claus
