Doubt it, I checked. And the obvious things: using locate to find the kernel modules, irw, etc. turns up only one copy.

Congrats, you got 'version 2.0' of the PVR-250, which has a new chip.
We're working on solving the issues with this now, which is getting
increasingly more surprising.  We'll keep you updated.
