I found a pdf file on the tuner at www.business-sites.philips.com/assets/Downloadablefile/FQ_MK5-1776.pdf Unfortunately it doesn't contain any useful information. It is rather confusing having the in-kernel tuner.c/h/ko (which I guess is v4l), the v4l (from linux.bytesex.org/v4l2) and the ivtv one...
