For my application, capturing from a direcTV receiver, I want to use
the s-video input. What I've found is the hack that has been
discussed on the list will cause the tuner audio to appear when input
6 (tuner) is selected, but it also has the line input active. The
same is true in reverse. If you select input 0 (S-Video) it has both
the line input and the tuner audio. Same with the composite input.
Selecting either input 1, 2, or 3 gives composite video with line in
and tuner audio.

Do you have color S-Video? I can't get mine to show color (composite works fine in color, don't have anything to test the tuner with).

I've also noticed that input 1 merely gives you the last chosen input that isn't 1. so if I go from 0 to 1, it stays on 0, or from 2 to 1, it stays on 2 (I've checked this by unplugging wires).
