Hi Jack,

Yup I found to do that, now my trouble is getting sound, i renamed the module for the msp and still no luck.

I am getting changing the mobo/cpu/sound on this box this week (going from a p3 750 to an athlon xp 2500 on nforce 2 ultra 400) so I'll wrestle around a bit more see if i can figure out what's up by then.

^^^ That tells you what a (very probable) cause is. Rename the eeprom.ko
module that comes with your kernel, then retry loading all the ivtv
modules. This would have been pretty easily found with a quick google
search.

Also, you're probably going to have to recompile your kernel since the
fedora kernels have 4K_STACKS enabled.
