Hi all
I don't know how to create one of those patch files, but the tuner on my card
(and I also believe the MPG600, MPG160 and M179 cards) have their tuner at
address 0x60.
The line:
static unsigned short normal_i2c_range[] = {0x61,0x6f,I2C_CLIENT_END};
needs changing to:
static unsigned short normal_i2c_range[] = {0x60,0x6f,I2C_CLIENT_END};
so that the tuner will be found.
Also the only tuner setting that works for my tuner is type 38. The v4l tuner
38 settings work OK, but the current ivtv tuner 38 does not so
The line
{ "Philips PAL/SECAM multi (FM1216ME MK3)", Philips, PAL,
� � � � � 16*160.00,16*442.00,0x01,0x02,0x04,0xce,623 },
needs changing to:
{ "Philips PAL/SECAM multi (FM1216ME MK3)", Philips, PAL,
� � � � � 16*160.00,16*442.00,0x01,0x02,0x04,0x8e,623 },
I would be grateful if someone could look at doing a patch so that these
changes are added into the next version of ivtv.
