The black screen doesn't bother me much either, nor does the stuttering
becasue I just don't myth on live tv much, but I did want to report it
for completeness.

I too did not experience the stuttering with 0.1.10-pre2 series. I
think I upgraded to the 0.3 series during a recent upgrade to a 2.6
kernel, then tried the 0.2 when I experienced these and a few other
small problems, and settled on 0.3 as overall the best for me but still
not perfect.

I can tolerate the little things as long as the box doesn't miss
recording my wife's soap - otherwise myth and I might both get the
boot.
