I have an ntsc pvr-250. I'm running ivtv-0.2.0-rc2f from the gentoo ebuild. I know this isn't the latest version, but last time I upgraded, it caused problems, so I went back. Anyway, that's not really the point now.
I'm using an ensoniq es1371 using spdif out to my receiver, and playing back recordings with freevo. I just rearranged my living room so I can finally place my speakers more correctly and I noticed that the right and left channels are reversed. A car drives in the from the left, and I hear it come from the right. I played an mp3 and a cd where the guitar solo is in the left speaker, and it does come from the left speaker in the mp3 as well as the cd, so I don't think it's the sound card. Again, it's a digital connection, so I don't have the cables reversed or anything. In any case, does anyone know if this is an issue with the driver, or if anyone has ever even checked it?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks, Peter
