I think it may have something to do with using the framebuffer... but may be only loosely associated. I have a pundit-r with PVR-350 and PVR-500mce installed. Running 0.3.2q drivers. With only the 350 enabled in mythtv, the 350 runs fine- records, does live tv, fb-out, but does have random locking after commercial skips... The 500 is a different story. Tuner 1 will record OK in myth and I can cat /dev/video1 > /tmp/test_capture.mpg just fine. Other times, I get a test_capture.mpg of size=0. Other times, the test_capture.mpg is small, a few 100kb and when I look at the file, it's a few frames. The error is similar to above. If I try to record from mythtv with tuner 2, from a 1/2 hr show I get a file of a few 100mb that looks like several still frames, evenly? spaced throughout the show. I also am willing to pull cards out, skip the 350fb-out, supply logs, apply patches...
