I noticed a lot of people using an FX5200 for playback. I've got a
PVR-350 and the ivtvdev driver works for me, but sometimes is a little
buggy and offers little support for other kinds of video playback.

For those who use the FX5200, is the s-video out for watching standard
definition comparible to the output of the PVR-350? Has anyone gone
from one to the other?

Ha... nearly identical

AMD athlon XP 3200
Abit AN7... (-S2 I think)
FX5200
512MB 400 RAM
Silverstone ST400 400W (I think, might be a 360W, can't remember)

At this point, I'm almost willing to send my particular PVR-500MCE
whitebox card off to Jarod or Chris so that they can try and make it
work and send it back to me when they've got a driver that works. I
have a feeling that the PVR-500's they've gotten to work have a
different revision chipset. Several, at least 4 or 5, people have said
they've had the same identical error.
