Playback froze pretty easy with this version. After doing a big 10 minute skip, it actually kinda hesitated and had a blocky picture for about half a second, and the sound scratched a little. A couple more skips and it froze. This was on the first recording played back after a fresh, cold boot on the new driver version. The other version I reported on seemed to be stable on the first recording, but froze easily on the next one. Same errors in mythfrontend, the one about waiting too long for the decoder to pause. In dmesg I get something new: ivtv: DEC STOP: buffer has 0x00000000 bytes left and decoder has 0x000d77e0 bytes left ivtv: DEC STOP: buffer has 0x00000000 bytes left and decoder has 0x000f0808 bytes left ivtv: DEC STOP: buffer has 0x00000000 bytes left and decoder has 0x00002ea8 bytes left ivtv: DEC STOP: buffer has 0x00000000 bytes left and decoder has 0x00042ca4 bytes left ivtv: DEC STOP: buffer has 0x00000000 bytes left and decoder has 0x000b0000 bytes left ivtv: DEC STOP: buffer has 0x00000000 bytes left and decoder has 0x000af008 bytes left ivtv: DEC STOP: buffer has 0x00000000 bytes left and decoder has 0x00003008 bytes left I'm going to re-compile myth tonight with the patch from John Harvey to see if the behavior changes much. I'd like the EPG problem to be fixed anyway so I guess I'll at least get that out of it :-) ~Lou
