Hello, Something which has been puzzeling me: if data is being copied from /dev/video0 to, for example, test.mpg in chuncks of 64KB, how is the continuity of the mpeg-data preserved? I mean, first 64KB of data is being read, after that the same data is being written. While writing, nothing is read, so it seems to me that /dev/video0 has to buffer data.
Questions: How big is the /dev/video0-buffer? Is there also a buffer for /dev/vbi0? How big is that one? Cheers, Johan Duinkerken. -- "if it ain't broke, try harder..." ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Oracle Space Sweepstakes Want to be the first software developer in space?
